Erin Brosious is a founder and partner at Kallins, Little, and Brosious, a boutique lawfirm in Manatee county. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida where she majored in English. Immediately after graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree, she obtained an accelerated Master’s degree in Secondary English Education from University of Florida in less than a year. She began her career teaching English at a Title I School, helping underprivileged kids, and ended her teaching career in Sarasota county where she worked for eleven years teaching English in all grade levels, from drop-out prevention to college credit courses. While teaching, Erin desired to develop her leadership skills, obtaining a second master’s degree in 2010 in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida.
To expand her professional career and broaden her impact in her community, she earned her Juris Doctorate at Barry University School of Law, where she received the Advanced Legal Writing Book Award and was Secretary of Delta Theta Phi Law fraternity. Upon returning to Sarasota/Manatee County, her passion for public service was demonstrated not only by her devotion to adolescent literacy, but also in her capacity as an assistant public defender at the Public Defender’s office of both Manatee and Sarasota counties. Erin helped thousands of clients while working at the public defender’s office, working with clients who could not afford representation, and many of whom suffered from mental illnesses, homelessness, PTSD, and drug and alcohol dependencies. The public defender’s office allowed for her to develop skills litigating and afforded her immediate court room experience.
In 2019, Erin opened her own lawfirm, Brosious Law, where she expanded her practice in the areas of wrongful death and personal injury. Shortly thereafter, Erin partnered with her husband, Melton Little and Scott Kallins, expanding her skills in family law as well. During the process of opening Kallins, Little, and Brosious, Erin has blended her passion for helping people with her talents for business and marketing. Erin’s goal is to deliver highly personalized service and top-notch legal representation to her clients, while constantly expanding her skillset and experience.
That same spirit of service inspired Erin to launch the Palmetto Com Center with her husband, starting the business from the ground up, with virtual and tangible office rentals using a unique concept which inspires a community atmosphere, teamwork, and critical thought during a new era of remote workers. Erin’s focus is twofold: her devotion to her husband and step-son, as well as her work running both businesses.
For over 20 years she has enriched her life through Yoga. She also helps to enrich the lives of others after she obtained her yoga instructor’s license including over 200 hours of teacher training on nights and weekends, consisting of intense study, training and yoga practice.
”I credit the ancient art of yoga as having a positive impact on my physical and mental well-being and in managing the demands of my career.” -Erin Brosious
