Beyond the Office:

Born and raised just south of Vancouver, Canada, Ziven now calls Sarasota home, where she lives with her husband— a U.S. Army Ranger and Infantry veteran—their son, Azrael (3),  infant daughter, Adelai, and four-year-old family dog.

Before becoming a mother, Ziven taught at a prep school in Canada. Later after her son was born, she taught high school English and SAT preparation here in Florida. Recognizing a need beyond academics, she personally implemented and taught classes on life skills to her students, drawing on her own education of nutrition and financial literacy to help them gain confidence both in and out of the classroom.

Outside of work, Ziven enjoys spending time with her family, exploring creative projects, and volunteering at local organizations that help other mothers find resources and support.
